Father/Son Communion Breakfast, Held 9 AM Mass on September 28
The Church Committee sponsored this communion breakfast. The 9 AM Mass opened with Fr. Skip welcoming all those participating in the communion breakfast.
In the social hall, our host, Church Committee Chairperson Kevin Donavan was introduced by Grand Knight Joe Palmisano. Brother Donavan invited Monsignor Sabia to say an opening prayer and Grace Before Meals.
The meal was served by members of the Columbiettes - Carol Keeney, Marie D'Ostilio, Debbie Fraczkiewicz and Mary Wheelin. The Committee is very grateful to each of these ladies for volunteering to be of service at this event.
After the meal, Brother Donavan introduced our guest speaker, Joe DeSantis.

Joe provided the attendees with a very nice and warm talk, the main themes being motivation, "being all you can be" and to not only savor the successes each of us might achieve but being sure we live and enjoy the journey we take in getting to our goals and successes. Joe's talk was very well received by all attending, helping to make our first communion breakfast a success.
